Adriane Harris
Background
Adriane Bond Harris is the Principal and Owner of HarCo, LLC. She is an urban planner and affordable housing/community development practitioner with a proven track record of multi-stakeholder engagement and public-private partnerships in implementing housing and growth management policies and programs for nearly 25 years. In her role with HarCo, LLC, she provides coaching, facilitation, and consulting services to problem solvers, organizations, and communities of color interested in reimagining and implementing authentic, equitable, and innovative solutions. Before consulting, Adriane led and implemented national and place-based housing and community development initiatives with a focus on creating healthy, affordable, and culturally curated spaces and places in communities of color and with low to moderate incomes.
Her place-based work began in Nashville, TN, and spanned across many sectors, including directing the Mayor’s Office of Housing during two mayoral administrations. She later worked for nationally recognized organizations, Green and Healthy Homes Initiative and the Center for Community Investment, focusing on national, regional, and local housing policy and community investment strategies.
Adriane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree from the University of Tennessee - Knoxville. She is a Center for Community Investment Fulcrum Fellow and Field Catalyst, which is focused on increasing investment in communities using traditional and nontraditional capital, including integrating health institutions and philanthropy. She is also a certified personal and executive coach supporting emerging and transitioning leaders in the real estate/community development field.
